The RXV uses an AC drive system with regenerative braking, so a no-drive or rolling-away complaint points to different parts than it would on the older DC-motor TXT. Getting the model and fault code right up front saves guesswork — and in our 100°+ summers, a lithium conversion is often the single biggest reliability upgrade for an aging E-Z-GO.

On the RXV, a no-drive condition most commonly traces to the controller, motor speed sensor, or throttle (MCOR) input — though a weak 48V pack can also trigger it. Because the RXV uses AC drive with regenerative braking, we read the fault code rather than guess.
TXT models are typically 36V or 48V; the RXV is 48V. Lithium conversions are available for either and hold up far better in summer heat than lead-acid.
